Central Split Systems

The standard for residential reliability. Furnace inside, condenser outside, comfort everywhere.

What is a Split System?

A Split System is the most common HVAC setup in Quartz Hill, Rosamond, and newer Palmdale homes. It splits "components" into two locations:

  1. Indoor Unit (Furnace/Coil): Usually located in a closet, garage, or attic. This moves the air and provides heating.
  2. Outdoor Unit (Condenser): The box in your backyard that releases the heat.

Time for an Upgrade? Meet SEER2.

If your system is more than 15 years old, it's likely a 10 SEER unit. New regulations require minimum 14.3 SEER2 efficiency in California. Upgrading to a new American Standard split system can lower your cooling bills by 30-50% instantly.

Don't Forget the Coil

When replacing the outdoor condenser, you must replace the indoor evaporator coil to match. Mixing old and new components causes efficiency loss and early compressor failure (and voids the manufacturer warranty!).
